Children’s Halloween disco with games, music prizes and snow machine at the Frimley Green club Sunday 30th October 2022. Start time 2pm. Finish time 5pm.
A full disco, complete with age appropriate games, mayhem, music, sweets and prizes. Will play any particular songs that everyone would like to hear. As with all children’s discos, music is all age appropriate and clean radio edits.
Dizzy Fish Oct 29th
Dizzy Fish are playing at the Frimley Green Club on the 29th October 2022.They have played the main stage at Penn Festival in 2022, supporting bands such as The Hooziers and Feeder. We are available to play at any type of function or venue and have a really great range of songs to choose from, that always keeps our sets fresh and relevant to our audiance. Soul by the Green Oct 22nd
A big Soul Event at the Frimley Green Club. We have DJ’s playing the best of Soulful House, Jazz and Latin, with a bit of Northern, R&B and rare Groove thrown in. Music starts at 7pm until 12.30am. Food will be available. £5.00 on the door for non-members. Brilliant evening with great music for the over 30’s.

Notice of passing
We are sorry to inform you that John Grimes former committee member has sadly passed away after a short illness. The club and its members send their condolences to his family.
Club Update
We hope this update finds you all safe and well.
It has been difficult for everyone during this crisis and made even harder as we cannot be together.
Even though our doors have been shut, the committee have been continuing to meet via conference calls on a weekly basis to ensure we are keeping up to date with the government advice.
This week, as we hopefully move closer to being given a date we can once again open our doors, the committee met at the club (we all kept to social distancing). The main purpose of this was to discuss how we could operate the club in a safe way when given the green light.
We worked through a number of scenarios and are confident procedures can immediately be put in place to meet legal requirements when advised the club can start trading again.
Until we receive the official guidelines, we cannot share anything but rest assured we will share our plans with you as soon as we can,
We have carefully monitored the club finances utilising all available financial help ensuring the committee can continue to manage our busy club as we have until recent events.
It has been suggested that we host a video quiz in a couple of weeks which we are more than happy to do. Please let us know if this is something you would like to see.
Finally, we want to thank everyone for their kind donations. The club made a total donation of £565.00 to a local community charity. This comprises of £265.00 kindly donated to the club fundraising appeal and £300.00 donated by the Frimley Green Club and its members.
Georgina Tindal is arranging care packages to those on the front line. It really has made a difference. Her GOFUNDME appeal is called “Food and PPE supplies for NHS and Carehomes”. It has raised £7534.00 to date.

Frimley Green Club NHS – Donation Appeal
Hello to all of our members and their families. We hope you are all staying safe and enjoyed the Easter weekend as much as you could during these challenging times.
This week The Committee officially arrived in the 21st century and had a meeting over Zoom!
We are now going to be having weekly meetings whilst we are all working through the crisis that is affecting the country.
The main purpose of this meeting was to ensure we are protecting the finances of the club and our employees. In the not too distant future (providing we all follow the rules) life will resume and we can join together once more and enjoy the club.
The Committee is pleased to confirm, because of everyone’s continued loyalty, we are going to be able to continue to run, as we did before, once this time has passed.
We are also very aware of the struggles that a lot of our members and their families may be facing at the moment. We may not be able to see you all, but we are only at the end of the phone if needed. If you or anyone you know needs help or just a chat, call 01252 835322 at anytime, the phone will be diverted to a mobile on Tuesday so you will always be able to get through.
We have decided that due to the close proximity of Frimley Park Hospital, it’s very important that we do our bit to support this amazing hospital during this time. The club will be donating £300 towards essential items required by the frontline staff, who may not always have the time to get these.
We have started up a Go Fund Me page so that if anyone wants to contribute they are able to. Please follow the link if you are able to give.
If you are not able to donate money then we will also be placing a box behind the gate of the club each day between 8am and 8pm until 17th April. Any tinned goods, rice, pasta, sauces, long life goods and hygiene products would be greatly received. Please only do this if it is part of your daily exercise, if you are not able to get to us and you want to donate, please call or send us a Facebook message and we will arrange collection.
